How to use your new Coral Cockatoo Clay Tattoo With Cernit: 

Using Cernit Polymer Clay
Start with White or Light coloured clay. Condition your clay until it is soft and sticky.
Cut your section of Clay Tattoo so it is the size of your clay with a slight lip. Place your Clay Tattoo image side down on your clay. Burnish lightly with your fingers to make sure that your Clay Tattoo is making full contact with your clay, then use your brayer to make sure it is evenly spread. Wait between 30-50 mins until your image is transferred, burnishing lightly every 10 or so mins. You can check to see if your design is ready by lifting the a corner slightly, if the image is patchy, burnish some more with your brayer and wait another 10 mins. Peel back your Clay Tattoo in a low and slow fluid motion. Dispose the Clay Tattoo sheet straight away, it will be sticky, be careful not to touch anything as you may smudge the design on your raw clay. You can now cut with your favourite cutters and bake as per manufacturers instructions.

Using Sculpey Premo Polymer Clay
Start with White or Light coloured Sculpey Premo Clay. Condition your clay until it is soft and sticky and then add a thin layer of Transparent Liquid Clay, gently spread with your finger in an even layer and then condition well into your clay. You want your clay to be STICKY to help transfer the design! Continue with the steps above starting with placing your Clay Tattoo image side down and burnishing.

*Important Step* 

After Baking
Your Clay Tattoo design will soften to a matte finish and the colours will lighten in the baking process. Apply a gloss varnish after baking to make your colours more vibrant. While you don’t need to seal your pieces, we do recommend sealing them if you are going to sell them.
