Hey there Lovely! Each of our Silkscreens are handmade to order from start to finish by us in Tasmania just for you!

Mesh: Coral Cockatoo Ceramics Silkscreens are made on a wider count mesh specifically for use with glazes for ceramics and pottery clay artists. 

Important Info: Use your unique Coral Cockatoo Silkscreen for anything from Pottery and Ceramics to earring and jewellery pieces to paper craft and card creations and more! The possibilities are limited only by your imagination and creativity!  
 
How to use your new Coral Cockatoo Silkscreen: Place the silk screen on top of your clay or other decorative surface, make sure you can read the Coral Cockatoo Logo, it is facing the right way up. Apply your colour in the form of a good quality Artists Acrylic paint  /Underglaze, gently swipe the medium across the silkscreen with a squeegee, hold the squeegee at a 45 degree angle and pull towards you gently, pulling the medium across the silk screen. Once adequately spread through the design, lift up the silk screen by gently starting with the bottom right hand corner. 
*Important Step* As soon as you have removed the silk screen place your silkscreen under cool running  water and rinse out the medium. Please also note that you must immediately rinse your silk screen as the medium will dry in the silk mesh making it hard and inconsistent to use. Once rinsed through allow to dry on a flat surface on top of thin paper towel and place near some natural light, this will help to dry and reharden your silk screen. VOILA! You can continue your masterpiece!

For use with ceramics, pottery, polymer clay and many other materials for all your creative desires! 🌸Use🌸 Use our unique and originally designed silkscreens for anything from Homewares to Earring and Jewellery pieces to paper craft, card creations, soap and cake decorating! Make sure you tag us in your creations on Instagram @coralcockatoo so we can see your amazing creations. Place the stencil on top of your polymer clay, apply some pressure with a roller so you start to get an embossing effect, it doesn’t matter which side you use 😊. Apply your colour in the form of acrylic paint (or experiment with micas!) gently cover the design in paint across the stencil with an old card or sponge, lift up the stencil by gently starting with the bottom right hand corner and and move in a diagonal direction slowly allowing the clay the separate from the stencil. Wash the stencil gently in cool water with a small amount of gentle hand soap or gently use a wet wipe. It is important to note that some paints with heavy pigment may stain your stencil, this will not affect its use. Once rinsed through allow to dry and then it is ready to be used again! 🌸Processing Time, Shipping & Handling 🌸 Please allow 5-7 Business Days for your order to be completed.
